Board Meetings are the Third Monday of the month January through November, and the second Monday in December at 5:00 p.m., Centennial Hall, Citizens Hall/Council Chambers. They are all open to the public.
The December 9, 2019 Board Meeting has been cancelled. The next regular Board Meeting is tentatively scheduled for January 15, 2020.

Welcome to the Steamboat Springs Area Fire Protection District! Steamboat Springs Area Fire Protection District serves to provide Fire, EMS and Ambulance Services to 428 square miles and approximately 7,997 residents located in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. The Steamboat Springs Area Fire Protection District partners with the City of Steamboat Springs through an intergovernmental agreement to design, build, and operate a fire and emergency medical services (EMS) department that is responsive to City and District needs.
Our mission is to serve the City of Steamboat Springs and the surrounding community by reducing human suffering and property loss, protecting the environment, and promoting safety through incident response, public education, and fire prevention programs.
We will actively participate in our community, serve as role models, and endeavor to efficiently employ all required resources to provide a service deemed excellent by the community of Steamboat Springs and its visitors.
